My Story
Hello and thank you for visiting my Scentsy website and reading my story!My name is Catherine and I am an Independent Scentsy Director as well as a wife, mother and pharmacist.I was introduced to Scentsy in 2009 by my new neighbor, a Superstar Director. I will admit that I did not immediately "warm up" to Scentsy, but I did promise my new friend that I was good for at least one party.Five months later in November, I made good on that promise and decided to host a party which resulted in tons of free product!I suddenly realized I was obsessed and addicted to Scentsy and had created a habit that I was going to have to support. Although I had never done any sort of direct selling, nor had I ever even considered it, for $99 I decided to join the Scentsy family that very night. I was confident that I could do the minimum, support my habit and go on about my life.One thing has lead to another and my business keeps growing! Within a year I have earned a free net book, several cash and free product bonuses, special recognition and a free all expenses paid incentive trip for myself and a family member to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida! I have watched my team and my paycheck grow from a $99 investment and that is exhilerating to me!For me this journey has been about more than selling candles. It is about sharing a product I love and opening peoples' eyes to a great opportunity. I find it rewarding and challenging as well as an exercise in personal growth and development. I am learning to mentor, motivate and inspire people to reach their full potential. I believe in the product, the company and the opportunity and enjoy learning new skills and offering a service as well as creating new relationships and friendships. I Iike being my own boss, setting my own hours and being rewarded for my preformance and achievements.That is my story and those are the reasons I love Scentsy.
